Rental Terms & Conditions

For the select few pieces available to rent

Most Label Shivaksh outfits are made to be bought and kept. A select few exclusive pieces, such as trail gowns and maternity-shoot wear, are also available to rent. These terms and conditions apply to those rental pieces only and govern your rental agreement with us.

To ask which pieces can be rented and for which dates, message Shivangi on WhatsApp or book a studio visit.

1. Rental Period & Pricing

  • Rental pricing is calculated per day.
  • Rental dates are fixed and cannot be modified after order confirmation.
  • Rental prices do not include shipping. Shipping charges are additional and are your responsibility. You can book delivery and return via Porter or any logistics provider of your choice.
  • A refundable security deposit is required for all rental items, which will be refunded within 2 hours of return acceptance.

2. Delivery & Pickup

  • Outfits will be delivered to your specified address before the rental start date. You arrange and pay for shipping — e.g. book via Porter, Delhivery, or your preferred logistics.
  • You are responsible for ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery and for return pickup/logistics.
  • Returns can be scheduled for pickup or dropped at our studio: First Floor, 122, near Karkardooma Road, Priya Enclave, Karkardooma, Anand Vihar, Delhi 110092 (Tue–Sun 11:30 am–8:30 pm).
  • All items must be returned by the end date specified in your rental agreement.

3. Care & Handling

  • Handle all items with extreme care. These are premium designer pieces with delicate embroidery and embellishments.
  • Keep items in the provided garment bag when not in use.
  • Do not: dry clean, wash, iron, or apply any chemicals to the outfits.
  • Avoid contact with food, drinks, perfumes, or any staining substances.
  • Return items in the same condition as received, with all accessories included.

4. Damage & Loss Policy

  • Any damage, stains, or loss will result in charges deducted from your security deposit or additional fees.
  • Damage assessment will be conducted within 2 hours of return, and refunds processed accordingly.
  • If an item is lost or damaged beyond repair, you will be charged the full retail value of the outfit.

5. Refund Policy

2-Hour Deposit Refund

Your security deposit will be refunded within 2 hours of return acceptance, provided the items are in acceptable condition. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

  • Rental fees are non-refundable once the rental period has begun.
  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the rental start date are eligible for a full refund of rental fees.

6. Size & Fit

  • We recommend trying on the outfit immediately upon delivery to check fit.
  • Major alterations are not permitted on rental items.
